Visualise VR Prevails in Seedstars Kathmandu 2016
The winner company will now represent the country at the global final in Lausanne, Switzerland to compete with entrepreneurs around the world for up to US$1 million in equity seed investment next April. Along with this great opportunity of attending and participating in Seedstars Summit, the team will also have the advantage of a free trip to Bangkok, Thailand for participating in a 3-day boot camp taking place in December, 2016, which will help them become a part of a global network of emerging startups, entrepreneurs, and investors, and advance their success level at a significant pace outreaching their goals .
“It’s our thought and approach for both the local and global market led us to win the competition,” said Sanjesh Khadgi of the Visualise VR after being awarded as the winner of Seedstar Kathmandu.
Visualise VR believes that providing VR/AR services through a developing country is economical and impactful. It believes that the growth potential in traditional software development setups in developing countries has become limited due to market saturation. Thus, the company aims to cater global demands and help create jobs as well through the creation of competently mixed reality applications that brings digital content to life.
“Till now, we have invested the money we have earned working in other sectors into the app. Today onwards, after getting the award and such recognition, we are determined to focus solely on the very app, promote it globally and make the app a huge success,” Sanjesh added, with pride and exultation.
